Hey — I’m Yasha, and I want to say something that doesn’t get said enough in education: not knowing how to trust yourself yet isn’t a character flaw. It’s what this season actually looks like for most educators.

Hey, I'm Yasha Chapman!
I’ve spent over a decade in education in classrooms, in coaching conversations, and in the messy in-between of helping educators believe in themselves again. Evolve for Equity exists because I’ve seen what happens when smart, caring educators are only given information instead of a place to actually process it.
My job isn’t to hand you a script. It’s to help you build the judgment to write your own and to make sure you’re not doing it alone.

Yes — joining Evolve for Equity's community doesn't cost anything. It's built to be a real support system for early-career educators, not a sales funnel.
How much time does this take each week?
As much or as little as you need. You can drop in on discussions when they fit your schedule, and engage with resources at your own pace — there's no attendance requirement.
I'm not a classroom teacher — I'm a new instructional coach. Is this still for me?
Absolutely. This community was built with newly transitioned instructional coaches in mind, alongside first- and second-year teachers — the resources and conversations speak to both.
How is this different from the PD I already sit through?
Traditional PD hands you information and moves on. This is an ongoing, two-way space — live discussion, honest feedback, and people who follow up with you, not a one-time session that ends when the slides do.
What happens after I sign up?
You'll get an email with everything you need to access the community platform, plus a quick note from Yasha on how to get the most out of it from day one.
Do I need to have my act together to join?
Not even a little. Most members join in the exact season this page describes — still figuring it out. That's the point of the community, not a barrier to it
